Get involved with Friends of Halstow

There are several ways to be involved with Friends of Halstow and we welcome everyone's participation. We look forward to meeting those of you we don’t know already, and we encourage you to get in touch with questions and ideas. Beyond the fundraising, our events are fun and boost the school spirit.

Attend an event

Buy a ticket for a Friends of Halstow event and join in. There are annual events for everyone to enjoy including an adult-only wine tasting, a movie night for the children, and a summer fair for the whole family. All proceeds are reinvested back into Halstow Primary School.

Volunteer at an event

We rely entirely on parents and carers to run all our Friends of Halstow events. Can you set up? Tear down? Run a stall or a bar? Then we need you! If you can spare an hour or two, sign up for a volunteer slot at one of our events and help make them happen.

Host an event

Do you have an idea for a Friends of Halstow event you’d like to hold? Please get in touch at friendsofhalstow@gmail.com and we can support you in getting your idea off the ground.

Volunteer your time and skills 

There are opportunities to contribute your time and skills to Friends of Halstow from the comfort of your own home, whether that’s wrapping book gifts for Halstow Primary School children, helping with the charity's admin or working on our website and social media. There is an untapped wealth of skill among our parents and carers, and we’d love to use your energy for the benefit of our school community.
